Forty original Killion wood and lino-cut prints from his coastal series, together with poetry excerpts from his new book with Gary Snyder, "California's Wild Edge," will be on exhibit at the JEWETT GALLERY of San Francisco Public Library, 100 Larkin St. on S.F.'s Civic Center Plaza.

Tom Killion's Point Reyes Studio (51 Laurel St., Inverness Park) will be open to the public Memorial Day Weekend(Sat., Sun., Mon.) from 11AM-5PM daily. Visitors can find all Killion's available original prints and large-format prints, framed and unframed; rare and out-of-print artist proofs and special prints; also notecards and books. They can print their own keepsake prints on Killion's handpress. Children welcome. Poetry from California's Wild Edge
A Poetry Reading and discussion of California's Coastal Poetry will be held Tues. evening, June 23rd, at San Francisco Public Library's Koret Auditorium from 6-7:30 PM featuring readings by poets Gary Young, Jean Vengua, Stephen Meadows and Michael Hannon, all of whom are featured in Killion's new book, "California's Wild Edge." Killion will introduce the project and lead a discussion of California's coastal poetry, in conjunction with his show next door at the Jewett Gallery. Free. For info. visit: sfpl.org

Tom Killion & Gary Snyder Celebrate "California's Wild Edge"
Killion & Snyder will host an evening celebrating the Wild Coast of California in Art & Poetry, including Poetry Readings by Snyder, Jane Hirshfield and Jerry Martien, and a discussion of Killion's new book on the coast and it's poetry: "California's Wild Edge." This event is a fundraiser for the book's publisher, Heyday of Berkeley, a non-profit dedicated to California culture and California's first peoples. It is also the "Publication Party" for the book Killion has worked on for the last five years. The Poetry Reading and discussion begin at 7:30 PM at the West Marin School Gymnasium, tickets are 40.00 (doors open at 7). A pre-event dinner will be held at Toby's Feed Barn at 5:30 PM, with tickets at 175.00 (which include a signed limited edition broadside by Snyder and Killion). Very limited seating for the dinner, so reserve this early. Killion's print show will be in the Gallery at Toby's as well.
