Tamalpais Walking: Images & Artistic Process
A selection of Tom's Mt. Tamalpais woodcuts will show in the gallery of the newly-refurbished Book Club of California along with a display of original blocks, tools, sketches, progressive proofs and correspondence with Gary Snyder, poet and collaborator in the book Tamalpais Walking. The Club is located in downtown San Francisco adjacent to the Sutter-Stockton garage at 312 Sutter St., 5th Floor. It is open Monday-Friday 10AM-5PM (visitors welcome). Killion will give a slide show at the Gala Benefit reception and grand opening for the new gallery on Sept. 13, 5PM-7PM. TOPOFILIA: Tom Killion's Woodcut Prints of Western Landscapes
NORTHFIELD MOUNT HERMON SCHOOL, 1 Lamplighter Wy., Mt. Hermon, MASS.
A rare East Coast show of many of Killion's favorite landscape prints plus newer prints (for sale) and an exhibit of his woodblocks and tools will fill the NMHS Rhodes Art Gallery. Worth a detour if you haven't seen Killion's original prints and are out for a Fall Color drive in Western Massachusetts.

Gala Benefit
Book Club of California, San Francisco
Tom Killion will be giving a slide lecture on his work in conjunction with his "Tamalpais Walking" show at the Book Club of California the evening of Sept. 13, from 5-7PM. This will be part of a Gala Benefit reception and grand opening for the Club's new gallery at 312 Sutter St., adjacent to the Sutter Stockton garage in downtown San Francisco. Mill Valley Fall Arts Festival
Tom will be showing his work in Booth #77 near the Old Mill in this lovely art show among the redwood groves a few blocks from where he was born and raised. Hours are 10-6PM Sat. & 10-5PM Sun. This is the oldest continuous outdoor art festival in the Bay Area. It has wonderful children's entertainment in a redwood fairy circle, and a stage above the creek featuring (richly talented) local musicians.
