Printing History: Tom sketched this view of the Dawn Redwoods grove at UC Berkeley Botanical Garden to prepare an image for a Botanical Garden fundraising project. These Metasequoia trees were grown from seeds collected in China in the 1940s. The print is a multi-block 8-color woodcut in an edition of 188, completed in October 2025.
