Printing History: Tom sketched this view of the Dawn Redwoods grove at UC Berkeley Botanical Garden to prepare an image for a Garden fundraiser. These Metasequoia trees were grown from seeds collected in China in the 1940s. The print is a multi-block woodcut in an edition of 188, completed in October 2025. The first half of edition was sold by the Botanical Garden for its fundraiser. The remainder of the edition is for sale directly from this web page. Shipping will be delayed until the first week of December due to Killion’s Thanksgiving Weekend Open Studio event.
