Printing History: These immense Giant Sequoias were sketched by Killion in the Giant Forest, Sequoia National Park and turned into a multi-block woodblock print in 2020 (sold out). The large-format giclee edition of 95 plus 25 artist proofs was developed from an original woodcut proof printed by Killion on cream-colored Torinoko paper that brings out the richness of the forest colors (large-format size 31x25 sold out). A smaller size (20x12.5) giclee edition of 35 special Roman Numeral prints (I-XXXV, plus 10 a.p.s) was also created. All editions currently Out of Print. But Note: a second state (II) may be issued in 2025.
