"Tuolumne Meadows from Pothole Dome”: Early summer view of Tuolumne Meadowsin the high country of Yosemite National Park. Lembert Dome, Mt. Dana and the Sierra crest appear in the background. 11 color layers, multi-block reduction cut print. Edition of 180 plus 15 artist’s proofs. Completed February 2020 (begun Oct. 2019).
In the right-hand column you can see many of the steps that went into making this print, including particular details of the various reduction- cuts in the later stages of printing, and the complicated reconfiguration of sections cut from several different blocks to produce the final color layers of the image.
