Printing History: Multi-block print with four color layers completed in edition of 150 plus 4 artist proofs in Feb. 2017. This print was made to celebrate the naming of Mt. Thoreau in the Fall of 2015 by a group of writers and artists. Mt. Thoreau sits opposite Mt. Emmerson flanking the eastern side of Piute Pass above Bishop. Only a few prints remain: these are edition prints beyond #127 and remaining artist proofs which all have roller marks in sky (these have a lower price of 250.00).
