Printing History: From sketch done on the cliffs of the Marin Headlands, looking east to the beach in Kirby Cove and the Golden Gate. First 3 editions printed from 1978 in these numbers: first ed. 50 plus 21 artist's proofs; II=50; III=20; the lino-block was also used to print half-title of Killion’s “Coast Of California” handmade book (1979) which harmed the block; ed. IV block recut 1999, edition of 75 + 7 artist's proofs; ed. V nominally 75 but not completed (2016) due to block failure; ed. VI of 50 printed (successfully) on Echizen dampened paper 2026, now available.
