The small original print of this image was created in two editions with two different coloring schemes (state I ed. of 101, 1999; state II ed. 80, 2001; both sold out). This new enlarged-format giclee edition of 95 was made from the state II image. It derives from a sketch I made in the Wallace Lakes Basin on a 1986 ski tour of the Sierra Crest from Kearsarge Pass to Whitney Portal. Available as giclee print only.
